October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)
NDEAM celebrates the contributions of America’s workers with disabilities past and present and showcases supportive, inclusive employment policies and practices that benefit employers and employees. All month long, we will share inspirational stories of some of the individuals we employ or have helped prepare for and find employment.
Meet Natalie Vagnone. Natalie has been working as a stocker of Health and Beauty products at Stop & Shop for more than two years. Natalie has taken on the manager role to ensure the department is stocked to the company's standards when her supervisor is away. She was commended by the store’s Director as a result of her outstanding performance in 2023. Natalie is supported by The Kennedy Collective Vocational Training & Support Specialist, Tierra Cox! Way to go Natalie!
