Spotlight: Ryan Stubbs
Ryan Stubbs came to The Kennedy Collective in 2018 after graduating from Cooperative Educational Services (CES).
When he first arrived, Ryan was unable to work on activities for more than a few minutes. He spent the majority of his day wandering around the program room or taking quiet walks in the community.
Fast forward to 2023: Ryan now works on functional activities for extended periods of time. He participates in community outings with his peers and his loving affection and laughter lights up the program room. His favorite activities are art and music therapy - his inspirational artwork was selected for the 2023 'A Unique Perspective' calendar. Ryan’s success is due to his perseverance and spirit in combination with the services he receives from The Kennedy Collective group home, day program, and Behavioral Services staff. The entire team has worked hard to create a supportive and structured environment for Ryan and it has paid off. Ryan is a STAR!

Goings on at The Kennedy Collective
On June 3, MDAC hosted Alice Ferriera and friends for a special brunch and printmaking workshop facilitated by Kim Proctor, local artist & garden designer. Alice, winner of this prize at the 57th Annual Four Seasons Ball, and friends enjoyed creating prints using various textures, botanical elements, and over-printing techniques.
Congratulations Faith!
You did it! On Monday, June 12, The Kennedy Collective staff gathered to celebrate an amazing achievement - Faith Prince's graduation from Harding High School. The entire The Kennedy Collective family is so proud of Faith's hard work and all she was able to accomplish. Faith is a shining example of our efforts to Empower and Employ! We can't wait to see what Faith will accomplish next!
