This coming year marks a remarkable milestone—our 75th anniversary! As we begin to celebrate this incredible journey, we are filled with pride and joy for the legacy we have built together. For nearly eight decades, our employees—past and present—have been the heart of our mission and those whom we support are the soul. We Challenge the Status Quo, Build Communities, Create Purpose and Ensure Inclusion. We diligently seek a world where people with disabilities are seen, celebrated, supported, and thrive in their communities.
This anniversary is a tribute to the lives touched and opportunities created throughout our history, and it is also a promise that the best is yet to come, as we continue to grow, innovate, and build an even more inclusive future.
Our history is rich with stories of courage, advocacy, and innovation. Every effort, whether small or large, has added to our legacy of impact that has helped shape more inclusive workplaces, neighborhoods, and opportunities.
From the very beginning, our founder, Evelyn Kennedy, a pioneering woman with extraordinary vision, made a promise for us to be here today. In turn, we now make that same promise for those we have yet to meet. Together, we’ve transformed challenges into possibilities and we build a future where individuals of all abilities are empowered to flourish and lead meaningful lives.
As we look to the future, we remain firmly rooted in our core values, values that remind us of the dignity of every person, the strength of community, and the power of purpose and possibility. Just as Evelyn Kennedy’s vision has carried us through 75 years, we are excited to continue this journey together and unite as a Collective, where our abilities have no bounds.
With gratitude and joy,
September 2025 'A Unique Perspective'
