Spotlight:Level-Up
The Kennedy Collective Placement Department has twenty-three students participating in the Level-Up program this summer. Level-Up provides students, aged 16-21, who qualify for transitional services before graduation, with the tools, training and resources to work competitively and forge a path to independence. They offer a pre-employment skills program in the fall, and a four-week, work-based experience program in the summer.
The Sports Center of Connecticut has been a host job site for Level-Up and TKC participants for many summers and has helped participants thrive and grow. Some past participants have gone on to secure work at the Sports Center after the program ended.
